Frantz Fanon and Algeria, 50 Years After Independence
From February 15, 2012 until March 20, 2012On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Algeria’s independence, on March 20th Casa Árabe organizes in Madrid a lecture on the narrow connection between this country and the psychiatrist, philosopher and French revolutionary Frantz Fanon, author of Les Damnés de la terre [The Wretched of the Earth], a reference on post-colonial studies and the man who had a great influence in both national liberation and decolonization movements.
