    Casa Árabe at the Courtyards Festival of Cordoba 

    From May 05, 2025 until May 18, 2025Mondays through Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 to 10:00 p.m.As an exception, on weekends (on the dates of May 10, 11, 17 and 18) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. (on Sunday, May 18 until 8:30 p.m.).
    CóRDOBA
    As we do every year, Casa Árabe will be taking part in this celebration, now considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To celebrate it, from May 5 to 18 we will be extending our visiting hours on Monday through Friday, while opening the doors of our courtyards on the weekends, as well. Come and discover the art installation devoted to Palestine.

    We are hosting this themed tour on Saturday, May 17, as part of the Festival of Patios, in which Casa Árabe is participating as a “non-competing patio.” During the tour, we will learn about a number of key female figures in the history of Cordoba and the social, cultural, political and economic contributions they made.     For yet another year, Casa Árabe has become the setting for a “scavenger hunt” held among students from different schools in the city, participating in this initiative by the Cordoba City Council to mark the occasion of the Cordoba Courtyards Festival.

    MADRID
    With the cooperation of the King Salman Global Academy of the Arabic Language (KSGAAL, by its initials in English) from Saudi Arabia, Casa Árabe is organizing a whole month of activities to celebrate the Arabic language in Spain, including poetry, calligraphy and storytelling contests in March, ending with a whole week of activities and training programs in April. Sign up now to take part in the competitions.

    On Monday, April 21, Casa Árabe will be hosting the opening day of the KSGAAL Arabic Language Month, which is to include an awards ceremony for the contests held in the categories of calligraphy, storytelling and poetry, as well as a round table discussion on the challenges faced when teaching the Arabic language.
