The certificate issued by the Language Center can be used to accredit that the course was taken, but it is not official. The only institution in Spain which issues official Arabic language certification in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is Spain’s Official School of Languages. 

Therefore, the Language Center was not designed as an independent education center, but rather the courses are given in person, and attending classes is a requirement in order to receive the certificate. 

The Language Center issues two types of certificates: a certificate of successful course completion (shows the number of hours taken and the final grade) or attendance certificates (shows only the number of hours taken).

Both require minimum attendance of 80% during the course, and neither of the two types of certificates will be issued if a student fails to meet this requirement.

Language Center students may pick up their certificate(s) once they receive a notice by e-mail stating that they are available, during the center’s opening times: from Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Friday from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
