    The Geometry of Light in the Islamic World

    On Tuesday, October 29th, Sabiha al Khemir, scientific director and curator of the exhibition Nur: Light in the Art and Science of the Islamic World, will be offering a conference at our headquarters in Madrid, at which she discusses the symbolism of light (Nur in Arabic) in the artistic contributions of the Muslim world.

    Leila Nachawati, a Spanish-Syrian activist and founder of the portal Syria Untold, and Mohamed Tayeb, author of the video game Zaytoun, will be speaking at this conference on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 p.m. at our auditorium in Madrid. Presenting the event will be Eduardo López Busquets, General Director of Casa Árabe.

    We are presenting this book by Alejandro García Sanjuán on Monday, November 4th, at 7:00 p.m., at our headquarters in Madrid. Speaking at the event will be Maribel Fierro, a researching professor at the CSIC; Carlos de Ayala Martínez, a tenured professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid; Carlos Pascual del Pino, president of Marcial Pons Historia, and Eduardo López Busquets, the General Director of Casa Árabe.
