    "On a Journey: Spanish Architecture in the Arab World" in Valencia

    Valencia’s Territorial Association of Architects (CTAV) will be hosting our exhibition from Tuesday, October 1 through November 8, 2013. Organized with the cooperation of the Superior Council of Architects’ Associations of Spain (CSCAE), it is an exhibition of projects by Spanish architecture firms and studios carried out in Arab countries

    Exhibition on the Hajj in Granada

    With the cooperation of the Euro-Arab Foundation of Granada, we are presenting an exhibition by Spanish artist Rojas al Andalusí titled, "The Hajj, Route of the Setting Sun. Dreams of the East at the Heart of nAl-Andalus." This exhibition will be officially opened on Thursday October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Euro-Arab Foundation in Granada (at Calle San Jerónimo, 27) and will remain on display until October 25 of this year.

    On Thursday, October 17, Felipe Maíllo will be offering a conference titled "Coming Closer to the Islam of Past and Present" in Madrid, on the occasion of the presentation of his book, the "Dictionary of Arab and Islamic History." The event will be presented by the General Director of Casa Árabe, Eduardo López Busquets, and will also include participation by Fernando Guerrero, Director of the Abada publishing firm. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Casa Árabe’s Auditorium (at Calle Alcalá, 62), with free entrance until the event’s capacity is full.

    "Perspectives on Fiction" in Barcelona

    We are renewing our cooperation with the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) at the third edition of CINEDebates, an interesting event with fictional films, the goal of which is to show stories that reflect the realities of Arab countries, in addition to increasing awareness of film works which are difficult to access despite their quality.

    On Tuesday, October 15, we will be presenting this conference given by George Irani, a Professor of International Relations at the American University of Kuwait, Ignacio Rupérez, a writer and diplomat, and María Dolores Algora Weber, a Professor of International Relations and Contemporary History at the Universidad CEU-San Pablo.
