Conclusions of the Seminar: "The Regional and International Implications of the Conflict in Syria"
From November 08, 2013 until November 15, 2013As a part of our effort to promote dialogue between the role-players in politics, the economy and civil society, as well as to debate over the current situation in Syria, we organized this seminar on November 4, 2013 along with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and FRIDE. The event was divided into three sessions: the current situation in Syria, geopolitical interplay and future scenarios. The debate was lively and included analysis of the crisis from several perspectives, with concluding remarks made at the end in the form of a final statement. -

From November 08, 2013 until November 22, 2013Tim Stanley, Senior Curator for the Middle East at the Victoria and Albert Museum, offered this conference on Thursday, November 7 at our headquarters in Madrid. Participating in the event were Santiago Saavedra, the director of Ediciones El Viso, Guillermo de Osma, an art historian and gallery owner, and Eduardo López Busquets, the General Director of Casa Árabe. -

It is held on the dates of November 18-19 in the auditorium at our headquarters (at Calle Alcalá, 62). -

From November 19, 2013 until November 26, 2013Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation presented this book published under the auspices of Iberdrola at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Madrid. Participating in the event were Eduardo Torres-Dulce Lifante, the State’s Attorney General; Ignacio Sánchez Galán, President of Iberdrola; Manuel Aragón Reyes, a Tenured Professor of Constitutional Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and Eduardo López Busquets, the General Director of Casa Árabe. -
