    Islam and the reform on Islamic Thought

    Monday May 9th, the course will begin with the opening lecture by Juan Antonio Pacheco, Professor at University of Seville, "Islam and Muslims: Historic Dimension and Contemporary Dynamics," which the Diplomatic School and Casa Árabe organize for third consecutive year.
  • Debates on the Arab Spring

    In the context of the current historic events in the Maghreb and the Middle East, on May 3rd and 4th, Casa Árabe and Madrid’s French Institute organize a series of debates focused on the Arab Spring, in collaboration with different think tanks and Spanish associations (Foro complutense, Reporters without Borders, Casa de Velázquez, FRIDE, Platform of Artist Women Against Gender Violence, IEMed and Club de Madrid).
