From July 26, 2011 until September 22, 2011Casa Árabe presents, in Madrid (21st of Septmber) and Córdoba (22nd of September) the book La historia desde mi balcón [History told from my balcony]. His writer the journalist Tomás Alcoverro, La Vanguardia Middle East correspondent since 1970, will be accompanied by Javier Valenzuela and the diplomat Ignacio Rupérez. -

Madrid’s Arab Book corner
From May 19, 2011 until June 12, 2011In parallel with Madrid’s Book Fair which is hosted in the Retiro park, Casa Árabe headquarter’s garden will be the venue until June 12th of the Arab Book Corner, with a book stand and a children space where reading encouragement and storytelling activities will take place. -
"The Time Between Seams" Reading Marathon
From May 19, 2011 until June 09, 2011Tuesday June 9th, Madrid will host an event on the occasion of the second anniversary of the launching of the novel El tiempo entre costuras (The time between seams), set on the Spanish Protectorate of Morocco. -
Casa Árabe in Sevilla’s Book Fair
From April 15, 2011 until May 30, 2011From May 19th to May 30th, Casa Árabe’s Bookshop takes part in another round of Sevilla’s bookfair with a stand shared with the Three Cultures Foundation, where apart from Casa Árabe’s publications; there will also be a selection on current books published in Spain from Arab authors or on Arabic and Islamic topics.
