    “Tree of Life” workshop

    On Thursday, October 16, we will be hosting yet another workshop in Cordoba to discover the archeology and history of the region through its craftsmanship, led by SextoMario. On this occasion, we will be working with “atauriques” (a form of Arabesques), and at the end of the session those taking part will have the opportunity to take home a “tree of life.” Sign up now!

    We continue embroidering for Palestine

    October 17, 2025 The workshop will be held on Friday, October 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

    TICKETS SOLD OUT. On Friday, October 17, we will continue practicing traditional Palestinian embroidery (tatreez) guided by three embroiderers who are refugees in Spain. Come discover some of the typical patterns from their places of origin and embroider your favorite.

    On Friday, October 17, Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Córdoba will be hosting a screening of this film by Elia Suleiman. The film screening is being held within the framework of the  Palestinian Film Festival  that will be featured in our programming over the coming months. After the screening, there will be a colloquium moderated by Chico Sánchez and Gonzalo Moya. Come join us!

    Coming to Casa Árabe on Sunday, October 19 is a new screening in our Palestinian Film Festival, which we have organized in Cordoba throughout the months of October to December. On this occasion, the UCO’s School of Philosophy and Letters will be hosting the session, which includes a colloquium afterwards.
